We are in a war against the forces of greed and the purveyors of misery, and sadly we are losing.

Everyday there is a story about a fallen star/sporting identity or a school that has taken action in reference to illicit drugs or alcohol abuse. Daily, public figures either extol the benefits or make light of drug and alcohol abuse.

The current philosophy in the war against illicit drugs is one of HARM MINIMISATION this is not peculiar to Australia alone nor is it necessarily bad as drug users certainly need help.

However with the emphasis on Harm Minimisation there is less emphasis placed on Harm Prevention. In other words the majority of energy is directed towards reducing harm to users.

Save the Future is solely about working to stop people taking drugs in the first place and starting a grass roots counter culture to the culture of acceptance and tolerance to illicit drug and alcohol abuse..

Mission Statement.

1. To start a counter culture against illicit drug use and alcohol abuse.
2. To promote to secondary school students, and the broader community the downside of using illicit drugs and alcohol abuse.
3. To expand it Victoria wide/Australia wide.

To turn the tide we must change attitudes and thinking from tolerance to non-tolerance, from cool to un-cool. From glamorise to un-glamorise.

WE MUST CHANGE OUR CULTURE.

We must make illicit drug use and alcohol abuse as non acceptable as say smoking, as non acceptable as carbon emissions, plastic bags etc.

Our Battle Cry:

We can win this war but to do this we need as many Rebels as we can get, young and old alike.
